LEAHI exists to provide a welcoming, creative, and enjoyable environment for all members and event visitors. Our kuleana is defined by simple rules which our members are committed to upholding.
- Be respectful. Treat everyone with courtesy, kindness, and professionalism. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation, or personal attacks will not be tolerated. Do not cause any trouble.
- Be inclusive. Welcome builders of all backgrounds, skill levels, interests, and building styles. Respect differing opinions and celebrate creativity.
- Respect member privacy: Do not post any photos or names of other club members publicly without their express permission.
- Respect the property of others. Do not touch, move, photograph for commercial use, or modify another person’s creations without permission. Handle shared club items and equipment and LEGO elements responsibly. Do not steal from others.
- Keep discussions constructive. Healthy debate is welcome, but disagreements should remain civil. Avoid disruptive behavior that interferes with others’ enjoyment of the club.
- Follow event and venue rules. Comply with instructions from club organizers and venue staff. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized space.
- Support other members. Offer encouragement, share knowledge, and contribute to making the club a positive experience for everyone.
- Respect the decisions of leaders. Club leaders and event organizers may address member behavior which violates our Standards. Members who repeatedly or seriously violate these expectations may be asked to leave an event, and/or have their membership suspended or permanently revoked, as applicable.
How to Report a Problem:
Problems should be reported to a member of our leadership team via asking to speak to one of them privately. This can be done by sending us an email request, or by asking to speak to a team leader at a public event. Our leads will investigate the situation, meet with the involved individual(s), and work to address and resolve the situation, as necessary.
